Dashcity
- develop tools and methods for supporting decision making processes
- deliver digital transformation
- design /create livable, sustainable cities
- coordinate and analyze urban statistical and spatial data
- consult in data collection methods, digital transformation, urban project management
- create KPI and evaluation system for urban development
- build web based GIS platforms for cities
- deliver/design/tailor service mix for commercial and residential use
- analyze urban networks with data visualization and dashboard design
References
Urban Forest Map
Using all the data from the green infrastructure.
- find more info about the trees in your neighborhood (total number of trees , diameter, species, watering calendar or adoption).
- explore the city’s urban forest by browsing at a citywide level ( well -connected green infrastructure or broken uncared-for boroughs)
- design the urban forest and infrastructure from the data itself
More test options:
- the rate and status of urban green areas
- the rate and status of biodiversity
- measure the total benefits of green infrastructure (public health, climate adaptation, water and air quality)
Urban Network Analysis
Using Space Syntax method to measure urban space related social, economic, enviromental or cognitive factors.
- help designing and planning the city in different scales
- develop infrastructure
- study the effects of spatial design on different aspects
- analyze the streets (depth distance)
More test options:
- compare the experiment with the nearest neighbour algorithm
- design and calculate city infrastructure (water, gas, electricity)
- analyze the location of the tourists attractions and related services
- sustainable tourism development (eg. the case of Venice)
Walkable, livable cities - the service accessibility indicator
Accessibility indicator – pedestrian access to services used daily by people living in the area under investigation.
- measure the accessibility indicator by creating a heat map with using weights ( weights eg. inhabitans prefences, statistical consumer basket)
More test options:
- delimited the accessibility indicator by the preferences of the generations ( x, y ,z, millenials, baby boomers)
- filterize the city by different service layers (Points of interests) to define the livable boroughs.
Sustainable and livable city analysis
Correlations between built and social environment in a larger scale.
- condition of buildings
- crowding indicator (eg. average floor space per dwelling)
- apartment , residental building and infrastructure density for specific area
Neighbourhood analysis
Housing and the sustainable long-term resource management, recycling, waste management can be correleted with neighbourhood demographics.
- analyze data from consumption, waste and renewable energy
- define indicators for measure health status, migration and old age index
- predict the migration in the city or in certain boroughs.
Geospatial analysis of public bicycle system
Earlier two of our founding members had a research aggrement with Budapest Bike (BUBI) to analyze mobility patterns and user behavior from geospatial and statistical (operational) data of BUBI.
- this research enables to discover the most frequently visited areas and times when the transportation network usage is very high.
- explore the loop trips and other mobility patterns
- studied the user behaviour of the tourists and the inhabitants.
- find the relationship between the built enviroment and the operational data.
- the results can be use for decision making processes, urban planning and network development for city services.
